Sydney, the capital of modernity

The state capital of New South Wales is a city that is continually growing in both economic and demographic aspect, and that annually receives thousands of tourists and students.
The most emblematic monument of the city isthe Opera House , designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon in 1957 and opened in 1973. This building is located on Bennelong Point (Harbor City) and displays the modernist spirit of Sydney on the outside but was created to house the art of classical and opera. In 2004 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and with it the author won the Pritzker Architecture Prize.
Near the Opera House is the Bay Bridge Sydney ( Sydney Harbour Bridge ), which serves as a connection between the financial center with commercial and residential area. After 8 years of work was opened and the March 19, 1932.
As a tourist attraction, there is a tour that involves climbing the bridge over one thousand three hundred steps (137 meters high). The tour lasts about three hours and, though the effort to get to the top is remarkable views that you can enjoy the city from here are stunning.
To relax from the hustle of the city, there is no better option to approach the Chinese Garden of Friendship . Located in the city center was a gift from the city of Guangzhou as a symbol of the alliance between the two countries. Design is based on the principles of Tao yin and yan .
Finally, being in Sydney should not miss the opportunity to visit the Olympic Park . This complex was created for the Olympic Games that were held in 2000 in this city.
